Abstract

This position paper recommends changes to improve the interface between the Cross-Site Transfer System (Project W-058) and the Multi-Function Waste Tank Facility (Project W-236A) to handle planned waste retrieval and storage operations. Appendix A includes cost estimates and schedule impacts for each project. The cost estimates, schedule impacts, and this position paper will be the basis for writing a change request to formally implement these changes on Project W-236A and Project W-058/W-028. Recommendations are made on pipeline rerouting, pump and configuration, and flushing configuration. Document type: Report
