In the contribution, a discrete meso-level lattice particle model is presented. A fully coupled mechanical and transport solver is validated using selected physical and numerical experiments from the literature. A water flow through a pre-cracked Brazilian disc is measured in dependence on opening of cracks scattered throughout the specimen. Secondly, a corrosion induced cracking is modelled and results compared against the physical experiment and numerical simulations.
