Dr. Rodríguez, recently incorporate to TecnoEco group as tenured scientist at CENIM-CSIC, began her scientific career thanks to the granting of a FPI fellowship in 2004, to perform her doctoral thesis at IETCC-CSIC about construction waste. In 2008 she began a new research line, about polymer matrixes reinforced with carbon nanotubes and nanofibres. In 2010, her research career continues with the award by CSIC, of a post-doc contract (JAEDoc), this postdoctoral period was developed at CENIM-CSIC, and began her research on advanced separation techniques and metal recovery. 

In 2015, the candidate returned to CENIM, continuing her research about critical metals, and founded, together with 6 more shareholders, B-Circular, a spin-off of CSIC, to revalorize composites waste.

She has published 48 papers in SCI, 29 of which are published in Q1 journals, H-index 25. She is author of 2 published patents and another 2 patents are in publication process.
