Prof. Mario Larch is an in expert in theoretical and empirical international trade and econometrics. He is a professor of empirical economics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Mario Larch holds a PhD in economics from the University of Innsbruck. He is also a research professor of the ifo Center for International Economics at the ifo Institute - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich, Scientific Advisor at CEPII, Paris, Member of the Scientific Board of the Midwest International Economics Group, Member of the Standing Field Committee in International Economics of the German Economic Society, External Fellow of the Nottingham Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP), and CESifo Research Network Fellow. He has published extensively in the field of international trade and conducted research in this area for several organisations including the Bank of England, the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the European Commission, the United Nations, the United States International Trade Commission, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, and ministries of Austrian, Germany, UK, and Canada.
