I am Gerard Masllorens, a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich. I obtained my  Doctoral degree in 2022 at the same university  with the funding of a Marie Curie fellowship. My main research interests are in international trade and global value chains.

I have a Master’s in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and a Master’s in Data Science from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

I am originally from Catalonia where I did my undergraduate studies in Economics and Business at UPF and Law at UOC.

Outside work I like all kind of outdoor sports like skiing, hiking and diving. I also love cooking (and people claim I am good at it), gardening and travelling.
