About me

I am a PhD scholar in the Civil engineering department at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. My specialisation is in Structural Engineering, with research interests in the Meshless methods, Finite element method, and Continuum mechanics. My doctoral work is to develop numerical techniques using appropriate meshless basis functions to solve boundary value problems for materials modelled using implicit constitutive relations. My work focuses on solving plane problems for bodies undergoing a continuous change in geometry in a multi-field formulation.

My research at IIT Madras is supported by the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellow (PMRF), awarded nationally. I hold a Master of Technology degree in Civil Engineering, specialising in Structural Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology in Pantnagar. Before joining the PhD program at IIT Madras, I gained academic experience in teaching in engineering colleges.
