ERDI - Energía Radiante y Disipaciones Irreversibles / REID - Radiant Energy and Irreversible DissipationsThe REID (ERDI in spanish) research group, has the main objective to carry out fundamental research on pure energy issues, focusing on those topics that seek to understand the energetic transformations that may exist between electromagnetism and heat. Radiant, non-ionizing and ionizing energy phenomena will be studied, as well as the irreversibilities that exist during the flow of these electromagnetic radiations by different means and all their possible applications, in which their scientific, as well as commercial and industrial use is contemplated. In this sense, the Radiant Energy and Irreversible Dissipation (REID) group, as a fundamental research group, also aims to support the work of four sub-groups of applied research, which are: the research group at Fire, Ignitions, Risks and Explosions (FIRE), the research group of Industrial Applications and Radiation (AIR), the research group of Energy Associated with Terrestrial Reheating by Human Interaction (EARTH), and the Research Group for Analysis of life Cycle and Utilities of Applications (ACVUA).
