D. L. Peña-Orozco, received the Bs. Eng in Industrial Engineering  in 1992,  Sp. Degree in total quality and productivity in 1995 and MS degree in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in logistics in 2013, all of them from the Universidad del Valle. MS dregree in  Business Administration  from Universidad ICESI in Cali Colombia and TULANE UNIVERSITY in New Orleans in 2014. He is currently a doctoral student in Engineering at the Universidad del Valle. He worked as a teacher and coordinator of the Industrial Engineering program at the University of Valle-Buga, for 23 years (1992-2016).
