Cristina Rovira is graduated in Economic Sciences and Business Studies at the University of Barcelona, where she also obtained the doctorate’s certificate of research proficiency. Since 2012 she has been Deputy Director of Production and Coordination at the Statistical Institute of Catalonia, where her entire professional career has unfolded. She has also taught at the Department of Statistics, Econometrics and Spanish Economy of the University of Barcelona (1997-2009).  In the 2013-2016 period she was vice-president of the Hispano-American Input-Output Analysis Society, and she is currently a member of the management committee of the international SORT (Statistics and Operations Research Transactions) journal.
