Master's Thesis about Twin Towers Collase following Theory from Prof. Z.P. Bazant which covered an understanding of both kinematic and energy models of the collapse occured on 11 September 2001.
Afterwards, the Thesis was completed with a Discrete Element Method's simulation on different framed structures to understand the changing in structural robustness index when considering more hierarchical frames despite more heterogeneous ones. The final outlook was that hierarchical structures are generally more resistant in case of extreme loads.
