Abstract
Dental caries and periodntales diseases are considered a serious health problems for your major and serious repercussions publishes physical, mental and social. The purpose of this project is to make of the level of oral health knowledge from the implementation of an educational program of oral health promotion aimed at teachers of the Basic school in the Municipio Palavecino. This study is framed in the form of pre experimental design. The type of sample was selected was not random, consisting of 36 teachers, the questionnaire was designed with the instrument used measure of the level of knowledge. It was designed and implemented after the educational program on the basis of diagnosis in order to train teachers in various oral health issues and the power to carry out health promotion into the school population, the results of this research as soon as the level of knowledge about oral health in general before the implementation of the educational program was regular in 80.6%%, 5.6% and 13.9 good. And after the educational intervention was modified by these values, improving the level of knowledge in a good 94.4%, with 5.6% regular and disappears the low level of knowledge.
