The Secpho innovation cluster, created in 2009, has emerged as a successful model of technological aggregation beyond sectoral and geographical borders. Since its founding, Secpho has overcome significant challenges associated with its non-sector nature and geographical dispersion, establishing itself as a prestigious player in the technological innovation ecosystem of southern Europe. This document analyzes the strategic evolution of Secpho from 2009 to 2023, highlighting how it has managed to adapt and prosper through a deep understanding of the reality of science and technology in the Iberian Peninsula and its ability to provide value to its members, which include companies , R&D centers and public administrations. El clúster de innovación Secpho, creado en 2009, ha emergido como un modelo exitoso de agregación tecnológica más allá de las fronteras sectoriales y geográficas. Desde su fundación, Secpho ha superado desafíos significativos asociados a su naturaleza no sectorial y su dispersión geográfica, consolidándose como un actor de prestigio en el ecosistema de innovación tecnológica del sur de Europa. Este documento analiza la evolución estratégica de Secpho de 2009 a 2023, destacando cómo ha logrado adaptarse y prosperar mediante una comprensión profunda de la realidad de la ciencia y la tecnología en la península ibérica y su capacidad para aportar valor a sus miembros, que incluyen empresas, centros de I+D y administraciones públicas.
