Els canvis normatius sempre van un pas enrere dels canvis a la societat.  Els economistes assumim el codi deontològic, que ens marca com hem d’actuar: integritat, competència i desenvolupament professional, independència, objectivitat i imparcialitat, confidencialitat, etc. Però sobre en què podem exercir la nostra activitat té moltíssimes opcions que, a més, constantment varien tant en funció dels canvis en els marcs normatius com en el de les noves tecnologies (millora en rapidesa i connectivitat, intel·ligència artificial, etc.).

El llistat d’activitats en relació amb l’economia de l’empresa consta a l’art. 4 de l’Estatut Professional d’Economistes i de Professores i Pèrits Mercantils. Tot i que es de 1977 ja n’anomena  fins a 39. Moltes d’elles segueixen vigents, però d’altres s’han vist afectades segons canvis normatius i tecnològics.  Podem enumerar-les actualitzades segons el següent detall :

La falta de perspectiva no ens deixa veure l’abast dels canvis que està patint la nostra societat i l’entorn en el que treballa l’economista.

Recents canvis normatius, com sobretot canvis tecnològics, suposen un repte per als nous economistes i una obligació pels que treballem com a tals.

Els avenços tecnològics i la irrupció de la Intel·ligència Artificial es fa palès a totes les professions i en particular a la professió d’economistes.

Els canvis normatius sempre van un pas enrere dels canvis a la societat. Els economistes assumim el codi deontològic, que ens marca com hem d’actuar: integritat, competència i desenvolupament professional, independència, objectivitat i imparcialitat, confidencialitat, etc. Però sobre en què podem exercir la nostra activitat té moltíssimes opcions que, a més, constantment varien tant en funció dels canvis en els marcs normatius com en el de les noves tecnologies (millora en rapidesa i connectivitat, intel·ligència artificial, etc.).
