International audience; The new Air Traffic Management concepts rely on high-precision 4-D trajectories, the predictability of which will greatly improve and result in an increase of the efficiency of decision aid tools. This will result in a reduction of air traffic controllerspsila workload through fewer interventions. However, a residual number of conflicts will remain to be managed by controllers. It would be interesting to select, each time it is possible, the conflicts to be handled by the controller rather than by the automated system. On the basis of previous studies, different traffic configurations and resolution types were identified. These were validated using a traffic sample. This validation should be considered preliminary one, due to the traffic data used (27 hours), insufficient compared to the possible sources of variation in relation to the resolution process and workload. However, the results already show some interesting information on how to allocate conflict solving in a future context, when both human and machine will share the task of solving conflicts. This may already contribute to better prioritize in conflict solving, but is mainly a plea for a comprehensive work on this question.
